Meet Janaya

Babysitting has always come naturally to me, especially because I’ve grown up helping care for my younger cousins and, more recently, my sister had a baby so I watch my niece while my sister is at work. I’ve learned how to be patient, attentive, and flexible whether it’s bottle-feeding, changing diapers, keeping a toddler entertained, or helping with nap time. I enjoy being hands-on and making sure the child feels safe, comfortable, and cared for while their parent is away. I also know how important it is to keep a calm and positive energy, especially during fussy moments. Babysitting has taught me a lot about responsibility, time management, and how to think on my feet all while building genuine connections with the kids I care for.
