I've had wonderful experiences with amazing little ones since I began babysitting 23 years ago. For 7 years I've been a nanny with prior experience in dance education and daycare. I show up as an early education and development scientist and researcher, a soul encourager and wisdom protector, as well as a nutritionista and faery god mother! I am interested in practices such as AP, NVC, Reggio Emilia, Montessori, Waldorf and RIE, but am not limited by philosophies and have flexibility to work with a family's dynamics and desires. My huge-hearted nature is fun, creative, tender, patient, positive, calm, responsible, observant, intuitive and delightful. I seek kind families that respect and value their children, themselves and their nannies. As an extension of these families I am a steady force with a warm shoulder for both children and parents to cry on and an instrument of joy to celebrate life with! These families, relaxed with our reciprocal trust, support, communication, collaboration, compassion, appreciation and love describe me as wise, strong, sensitive, playful, reliable, high quality, attuned, non-judgmental, a role model, sweet, grounding, gifted at giving loving attention and space, and "all the things". Most of my cherished work has been with 3 month - 9 year olds. I love playing! Outdoors we go on adventures exploring nature, socialization, events, classes and special interest destinations. Indoors we make food together, read, have conversations, create art, music, movement, develop emotional intelligence and resilience, befriend imagination, spacial inquiry, science experiments, self exploration and whatever their natural desire to learn brings us. I believe connection is key to the foundation for all of life and is often a missing piece of normalized culture so that is what I love to foster first.
