Melina babysat my kids a few nights ago. She was flexible, on-time, and polite. My kids really enjoyed having her as a babysitter and even asked if she can babysit them again.

I am a child care teacher, nanny, and now mom to a high school senior in. I work as a school district ECE teacher Sept-June and am doing some Weekend care for extra money. For a number of years I was a nanny in exchange for rent and did after hours care and evening and weekend routines with children 1 years old to age 10, including helping with chores and school work and getting them ready for bed. I enjoy doing cooking, dramatic play, and art with children and I make sure to get them some exercise and quiet time when with them for long stretches of time.

Rebecca sat for my 4 and 7 year old kids for an evening. She was communicative, professional and reliable. The kids were very comfortable with her as soon as she arrived. She has clearly spent a lot of time with children. I would highly recommend Rebecca!

I have 12 years of babysitter and nanny experience working with kids. I am patient, interact well with children and am also dedicated to the well upbringing and safety of children. Personally I've raised two girls of my own and is currently an empty nester. Now that I'm no longer a full time mom, I'm taking on some part time jobs assisting other busy parents. I'm also comfortable being around pets. My family moved to WA 23 years ago and I turned a full time mom out of choice. During those years I had the joy of caring for my kids and volunteered as a teacher helper when my younger child started elementary school, helping other children in school with reading and art projects. I taught elementary Singapore Mathematics and substituted for challenged students English classes on Saturdays with Northwest Chinese School when my daughters were attending Chinese lessons there for 3-4 years. Also privately tutored some Taiwanese kids and assisted non-fluent English speakers in the library ESL classes over the years. I believe with proper nurturing and providing children with early learning opportunity can enhance positive child development. I highly value quality education. I am good at reading books to kids and enjoy singing children's songs and rhymes with them. I am great at telling time-tested and children-proved stories. I am good at teaching and making art and craft projects. Also able to handle making healthy kids meals and cleaning after kids with ease. Since the past years to date I have been working part time and occasionally for families with kids ranging from 0 months to 12 years old. I have experience with baby and toddler care. I am currently available for date nights and weekends babysitting. Any other details beyond, I'll be glad to divulge during an interview. Thank you for your consideration.

May is a kind, caring, and wonderful baby sitter. She is detail ordinated and kept us apprised of her actions and care throughout the time she watched our 1 year old daughter. My wife was very impressed on her ability to put our daughter at ease. We highly recommend May.

My name is Samantha and I am a mother of two youngsters! I have worked for three years as a parent coordinator in co-op preschool with kids from 1 to 5. Additionally, I have nanny experience, new born night care experience and regular babysitter experience. Childcare is by far the best career choice I could have ever made. My approach to childcare is play based and rich in art, books, baking and any other activity kids enjoy. What makes me different from other babysitters is that I come to the job with a range of thoughtful and helpful ideas. Firstly, I help teach children effective solutions for issues that arise for anything from sharing to communicating their needs. Secondly, I go above and beyond to anticipate how I can help parents. This means that at the end of a babysitting night all the toys and dishes are all put back and clean. Lastly, I hope you'll choose me because I am a parent and that gives me an insight into what raising a child feels like. I bring ideas, empathy, and care into my work. I see childcare as a three fold job: caring for the children, the family as a whole and the house. Parents know their children better than anyone so I always take parent input seriously and appreciate any feedback along the way. My schedule: Evenings on weekdays - 7:30pm to 1am. Weekends anytime. My rate is $33/hour for 1 child $35/hour for 2 & 3 children and $ 40 for 4. I can care for up to 6 children in a sitting. (Rates negotiable) Thank you so much!

I am a warm, conscientious, positive and reliable person and the mother of four young adults, one an All survivor. I was active in their schools and activities and am used to those routines. For 13 years I worked with groups of elementary aged children in science enrichment programs as well as supervising and instructing in summer camp settings. For the last five years I have worked as a before school nanny for one family, and afternoons as a family assistant to another family with teenagers. For three years I have been an after school/camp nanny for 2 additional families. I also provide child care nights and weekends for several other families on an occasional basis. I love working with children, watching them grow and develop their special talents. I have a flexible schedule and try to accommodate your needs.

Kimberly was great to work with. Her attention to my cats made me feel confident in her care. There were no worries during our absence and the kitties were well adjusted when we returned. Thank you, Kimberly!

Julie has been an amazing cat sitter for us. She has watched our cat many times now and has been consistently reliable, trustworthy, and paid attention to the important details. It's very apparent how much she loves spending time with our kitty and how seriously she takes a job. I'd highly recommend Julie to anyone looking for pet care!

Hi! I’m a pre-nursing student who has completed my CNA course and Basic Life Support (BLS) training. I also completed my clinicals at Northwest UW Medical Center, where I gained hands-on experience providing compassionate care in a professional healthcare setting. I’m also a volunteer at Seattle Children’s Hospital, where I have the opportunity to spend time supporting and engaging with children in a pediatric healthcare environment. In addition to my healthcare background, I have paid childcare experience caring for children ranging from 11 months old through elementary school age. I have references available upon request from families I’ve worked with. I’m currently working toward earning my BSN in pediatric nursing because I’m passionate about caring for children. Along with my paid experience, I come from a big family and have spent years helping care for younger relatives, giving me confidence working with children of different ages and personalities. I’m patient, responsible, dependable, and strive to create a safe, fun, and nurturing environment. Whether it’s engaging in age-appropriate activities, helping with meals, bedtime routines, homework, or simply providing attentive care, I always make each child’s well-being my top priority. Feel free to reach out if you’d like to chat. I’d love the opportunity to support your family!

Hani was very responsive and saved us on a last minute request for backup care for our 2 year old. She was engaging and helpful with my son. There was some miscommunication from her end on her availability for the days we requested and that misled us in believing we had backup for the remaining days. She also did not communicate on not being okay with laundry and chopping vegetables when asked. Other than those few things she was great to work with! Highly recommend

I’m a dependable, patient, and easygoing dad to a 1-year-old girl and a 5-year-old boy, so I understand firsthand how important trust, safety, and consistency are when it comes to childcare. I’m comfortable helping with day-to-day routines like meals, playtime, homework help, bedtime routines, and keeping things tidy while making sure kids stay engaged and cared for. I’m especially good at staying calm under pressure, communicating clearly, and adapting to different personalities and family routines. I know every child is different, and I try to create an environment where kids feel comfortable, supported, and safe. I’m also comfortable around pets, helping with light household tasks if needed, and handling higher-energy kids with patience and structure. My goal is to be someone families can genuinely rely on and feel good about having around their home.
