My name is Jordan, I am 23 & I am a very ambitious and creative person with a passion for childcare. I am always keeping busy, and striving to make differences/accomplish the things that I can. Early childhood development is incredibly important to me, and I’m very invested in the way that children are treated and taught. This early age shapes their little brains for the rest of their lives, and I interact with them with that in mind! Experience: I have been working with children for 7 years. It became more of a regular career for me about 4.5 years ago. I have experience with multiples, ages NB to 13yrs old, and worked in a preschool for about 3.5 years. I started with babysitting, then moved to nannying and preschool teaching. Some of my experience includes: -a family with a 6 month old, 2.5 year old, and at the Read more end of my time with them, a newborn. -a family with a 3.5 year old, and 8 year old who I still see sometimes and come to their birthday parties! -family of a 4 month old baby -family (who I am currently with) 3 year old and 1 year old brother (I have been with them for about 1.5 years) -about 1.5 years of substituting at a preschool, followed by 2 years of being the assistant teacher at the preschool for children ranging from 2.5-5 years old -driving my boss’ (owner of the preschool’s) 12 year old and 10 year old children to after school activities, and overnight care while parents were on vacation (been with them on and off for about 3.5-4 years or so!) I have a lot of experience working with multiples, and a vast range of ages. I am very invested in the kiddos I work with, and care very deeply about their development. I’ve learned a lot from the preschool I worked in, as well as from the childhood development courses I took in college. Teaching littles to be good people is the most rewarding thing!
