Hello and hope all is well(: My name is Denait, pronounced duh-night, and I am currently a junior at WSU Global working towards obtaining a BA in Business Administration with a focus in Marketing. Related Work Experience: I've worked as a teacher at KinderCare for two years where I cared for infants to school-age children. We had a 1 teacher to 3 infant ratio and a 1 teacher to 10 toddlers through school-age ratio. With, I am more than capable of caring for multiple children at a time. I have been a lead director of the Eritrean Youth Dance Group of Seattle for 13 years now and have been a part of the group since 2003. Here, I teach, and create dances, activities, and events for students of ages ranging from toddlers to college age. In both my experiences with Kindercare and the Eritrean Youth Dance Group of Seattle, I Read more create my own lesson plans and ensure kids' safety and well-being. My personality: I am a true PNW local who loves outdoor activities whether that be hammocking and picnics at the beach or hiking. I know there's always time in the day for technology so I do what I can to make time for the beautiful outdoors. Whether young or old, those around me would describe me as positive, patient, open-minded, respectful, and responsible. Working with kids brings me joy. They do the funniest things and are so authentic. The radical honesty and pure heart children possess are unmatched. I love watching children's growth and seeing the way their brains operate. Lastly, I enjoy working with kids because of the creative aspect that often exists; I truly love creating new games, activities, and learning opportunities that benefit a child’s growth.
