I have 2 years experience as being an Au pair and also, I've been working as a nanny/babysitter for the last 2 years in Seattle area. Some of my families I've been working for them for over an year with occasionally care for the kids. I like being surrounded by the little ones and share the happiness and joy they bring to the world. I was raised in a family that values respect for all creatures in the world and try to pass that to the kids I have the chance to work with. I believe that being a babysitter is more than work, it's also rewarding to be part of the development of a child's personality and character. Flavia is wonderful with our 2 daughters, ages 2 and 4. She is very attentive to them and constantly keeps them engaged with playing and learning. She is responsible, caring, and reliable. We always call her first when we need a weekend sitter. Our children always have fun and stay busy with her.

She sat for our 10-year-old daughter twice a few months ago. She very obviously likes children and is very competent / capable. Our daughter is normally very shy but seemed to warm up quickly to Flavia. She is quite popular and we're finding out we need to give more notice in order to secure her for future jobs. We look forward to having her sit for us in the future! :-)

In the past, I've had friends watch my two enormous dogs. They're nice, but ill-trained (my fault), and can be a little twitchy about strangers. Flavia did a great job with them, showing up twice a day, taking them for walks, even pilling one of the dogs to help with his hotspots. Great petsitter and will definitely use her again in the future!
