Being the eldest of 4 children, I have had a huge amount of babysitting experience growing up between siblings, cousins, and a nephew. In high school, I worked in a daycare with children from 6 weeks to 5 years as part of my child development courses and also tutored school age children. My husband and I were stationed in Italy over the past three years, where I worked for Child and Youth Services in the Child Development Center and School Age Center. During this time, I worked with infants, toddlers, preschoolers, and elementary aged children. I have certification in CPR and First Aid, and love helping children learn through activities such as arts and crafts, games, or being outdoors. Being new to Washington, I would love to be able to continue to work with children while expecting my first baby and to continue after she is born.
