I am a 20-year-old who has recently moved out of my parents to a one bedroom apartment on my own. I currently work for a psychiatric facility in Lacey (Tues.- Sat. 7a-3p). I was hired here in April of 2019 I was an in- home caregiver for disabled adults for just under a year and a half, it was a job I loved. I have a strong passion to care for those with special need, when I was in high school I volunteered in the Special Needs program as well as being a TA for the program teacher, that is where I found my love for this field. I have experience with non- verbal people as well as an array of different disabilities, I’ve work with feeding tubes, ostomy bags, and catheters, I also have a large amount of experience feeding people as well. Although I do work full time, Read more I will be completely dedicated to the families I work with outside of my job. Thank you for your consideration!
