I have a passion for infants, children, and childhood education. I took two childhood education courses in high school which taught me much about the development of the child’s brain and mind as well as how to interact and care for them, teach and educate them. I also have previously worked as an assistant at a childcare center with varying ages (infants-6 years old). My duties and regular responsibilities included preparing food and feeding babies and children, assisting the teachers with crafts and activities, helping with lesson plans, practicing reading and writing with the kids, reading, changing diapers, bouncing and burping infants, cleaning up after, holding and rocking infants, playing with the children of all ages, observing and keeping a close eye on up to 20 kids at a time (with the help of other teachers), incident reports when necessary, and overall making sure the kids are having fun and Read more are happy! While working at the childcare center, I did my absolute best to be a good role model for them and to help inspire them to reach their full potential! I also babysat for a family friend for over a year. I would watch her 3 children of different ages (all about 1-2 years apart in age) over the weekends or whenever needed be.
