Hello! My name is Jessica and I am a former part-time nanny to two families in D.C. with kids ages 1, 2 and 3, and regular babysitter for ages 15 months to 13 years. Many of these came from word-of-mouth referrals and I now continue to do occasional and temporary babysitting. I was also a Kindergarten teacher (ages 3-6) for three years in China, and taught High School Economics for one year. I greatly value early childhood education and enjoy challenging children to learn in creative and fun ways. I also love crafts and being outdoors. I have some special needs experience with children who have Down syndrome but am very open to learning to work with children who have other disabilities. I am always willing to pick up nights/weekends when my schedule allows and am happy to provide references.
