Hi, my name is Bahia, I am 34 years old and I have my master's degree in marriage, family, and child counseling. For the past 7 years I have been a nanny, splitting my time between multiple families, almost all of whom have had at least two children ranging from 3 months old to 7 years old. Before nannying I worked at an autism center for 5 years, first as a behavior therapist, and eventually as a clinical supervisor. At this job I worked one on one with children ranging from 18 months of age to 15 years old. At this job I was trained in methods of language development and behavior management. While working at the autism center and completing my master’s degree I also interned as a marriage and family therapist trainee for two years, and approximately half of my caseload consisted of children.
