I have loved working with kids for a long time. When I was in high school I began volunteering with the Children's Ministry and loved it! I continued that for 4 years until I came to WSU. During my senior year of high school I took a child development class where I received certification to work at a daycare (STARS/Merit), childhood CPR, and HIV/Aids Bloodbourne Pathogen certification. While getting my certifications, I spent a couple days a week helping out at a local preschool. After I graduated from high school, I had the oppurtunity to work at a daycare over the summer and I loved being able to bond with the kids and have a good time with them.
