I absolutely love babysitting because I feel fulfilled knowing I am putting in my part to keep kids safe. From a young age I was trusted to look after my smaller family members and that has helped me gain the patience and tolerance I have today. The older I got, the less scary it was to care for infants and toddlers. My first official job during high-school was at an after school program for kids ranging from ages 5-13. After that I became a caregiver for about 2 years and that exposed me to a whole new demographic and helped me expand my skills. I am now 24 and currently work at an office but every so often I find myself missing the childcare work I used to do. It was fulfilling to create a safe and fun environment for kids.
