Hello families! I am new to Washington, fresh from California. I am looking to work 20-35 hours a week and I charge $18/hr-$24 depending on number of kids. I just finished up last school year as teacher in a licensed after school child care program called Campus Kids Connection working with kids K-5 and I have been recently working as a nanny and a day camp counselor over summer. As a caregiver I have 8 years of experience with kids from 9 months old to age 10. I am experienced and enjoy tutoring math, spelling and reading plus I have skills in facilitating fun and creative activities, especially at an elementary level. In my free time I like to dance, cook nutritious and delicious food, play in nature, and do lots of arts and crafts! I am a positive, patient and playful person who genuinely LOVES working with children!!! I Read more believe that a good nanny is a positive role model, friend, and teacher! I also hold a BA degree in sociology from UCSC. I am a great driver with a clean driving record, reliable Mazda 3 hatch a back and I can provide proof of insurance if needed. I would like to find a family located in Sammamish or Redmond area but open to commute to Bellevue for the right family. I prefer a written contact agreement and consistent open communication about needs and expectations between me and a family.
