Stephanie is wonderful. We left her with our 6 children for an overnight getaway and they all really liked her. The house was peaceful when we left (hard to do with two toddlers) and when we arrived home. We will definitely hire her again!

I have many years experience caring for children of all ages professionally. I have a clean background and reliable transportation. I have worked as a caregiver for the past 15 years helping elderly and disabled clients in their homes. I'm also a mom of a 27 year old son and 18 year old daughter and grandmother of 1 year old granddaughter 🙂 I love to cook making healthy meals and snacks, keeping homes clean and tidy, do arts/crafts, play games/ do puzzles and read books/watch movies occasionally and going to play outside in the fresh air when weather is decent. I enjoy pets and helping with them as well if needed. I'm flexible about days and times and for date nights too. I could even do overnights as well with a days advance notice if you need a weekend getaway. Please reach out if you are interested in meeting with me. Thanks Teresa😊

Teresa is wonderful! Our son loves her and she's great with him. She's very good at doing lots of different activities with him, so he's not just watching TV all day. I highly recommend her.

Hello Everyone! My name is Emma and I am offering occasional babysitting services! I’m your typically 25 year old trying to make some extra income.I have my Associates of the Arts degree, Associates of the Arts in Teachers Education as well as a certificate in business management. I am ONLY available for occasional/date night babysitting opportunities in Port Orchard, Gig Harbor, and Bremerton area! *I am fully vaccinated against covid* I am currently employed at University Place School District as a Para-Educator in the Transitional Kindergarten program! With that I am only available for date night care. I am the oldest of 4 kids with all of many different ages (23,14 and 13). Way back to 2011 my dad lost his job when the economy tanked he went back to school while my mom was the only working and we had 2 big surprises pop up! She had my brother and my sister durning this time which made me grow into a bigger role of big sister/babysitter/2nd mom. Therefore I have experience with all ages and even children with disabilities. For 3 years I worked at the Morgan YMCA teaching swim lessons to all ages (6months-adults), did lifeguarding and also participated in a swim program called Swimming for Exceptional Children. I am no longer certified still in lifeguarding. However, I am certified in CPR/AED, First Aid, and Oxygen. Through my previous job at the Morgan YMCA I have taking training courses such as child abuse prevention, sexual harassment, blood born pathogens, hazard communication, ALICE, listen first and much more. I am non-smoking, have references, have access to a car/have a license, as well as willing to take a background check or do an interview prior to occasional babysitting gig. Feel free to message me with any comments, questions or concerns! 😊

Hello Maria here. I'm 100% children focused: playing games, reading books, trips, homework help, etc. Seeking occasional work before noon or after 7pm, as I have a part time position I'm very happy about. I clean up after any activity or meal. I don't use the computer -- unless it’s for an activity for the children. Rarely use the phone. I grew up cooking Italian food, cooked vegetarian at a Retreat Center, and can cook pretty much any food that children enjoy – often from scratch. As the eldest of 5 children it was often my job to watch my siblings who were 1 to 14 years younger than I was. My first job, at age 10, was babysitting a neighbor’s child while the parents enjoyed date nights. At age 14 I babysit for 2 girls, 24 hr a day, all weekend and took 2 buses to get to and from their home. I've babysat for my nephews and nieces (I have 10 of them, 6 in one family), sometimes at their home, often at mine, and watching up to 6 of them at a time. I mentored 3 children in foster care and they stayed at my home 1 weekend a month. I have also mentored nearly 400 teens, and have two community service awards. I was not blessed to have children of my own. Often I "borrow" children whose families I met at church to spend a day enjoying life with them. We've gone to museums, on picnics, for walks, done gardening, and enjoyed parks, the beach, play games, cards, gone to movies, etc. I teach children old NYC streets games, sometimes we watch movies and play games, often we cook together. I have been employed by PARKS at an after school center and can do lots of crafts, homework, day trips, etc. I play the accordion (not well any more) but have taught children to read music and play very basic songs. I have a CPR and First Aid Certification that expired in May 2020. I have not renewed due to Covid. I was bonded by a Tax Advisory firm and also on Wall Street, when I worked there. I was brought up cooking Italian food, cooked vegetarian at a retreat house, and cook age appropriate foods for or with children. I have two masks and am very careful regarding underlying condition regarding Covid, Since Feb 2021, I have taken a train once -- to go to jury duty. Have not been on train. I have a car... but no air conditioning. I have lots of references.

Maria is the the best sitter we've had to date, and we've tried almost a dozen. She does what she says, and she really does relate to children. Great personality and tough when she needs to be, which help with my children! AND...she can cook!! Yum:) -Stefani Ford

My name is Taryn and I have been a nanny for the last 12 years. I am also a certified medical assistant. I have worked with multiple families as a nanny and they have all become like family. I work for an amazing family right now and have been with them for the last five years but as their youngest is starting school soon the hours won’t be enough. I have a 3 year old daughter that I occasionally bring with me depending on the time of day. I have continued to do this for so long because I find it extremely rewarding. I have multiple references from past and current families I’ve worked for and I hopefully will meet more amazing families soon!

I love being a sitter because caring for children comes naturally to me, and I truly enjoy helping kids learn, grow, and feel safe. Being a positive, dependable person in a child’s day is something I take seriously. I know how important it is for families to have someone they can trust, and I enjoy creating a fun, structured, and caring environment for children of all ages. I have hands on experience raising my own three children and have been a stay at home mom for the past eight years. My children are now 6, 7, and 10, so I have years of daily experience managing routines, meals, homework, activities, playtime, and emotional needs through different stages of childhood. I understand patience, consistency, and how to balance fun with responsibility. My skills include multitasking, communication, problem solving, creating routines, preparing meals and snacks, helping with schoolwork, and keeping children engaged in safe activities. I also have experience safely taking children to and from appointments, school, sports, and other activities, while making sure they stay on schedule and feel comfortable. I am experienced with younger children as well as school aged kids, and I know how to stay calm, organized, and dependable in busy households. Families can count on me to care for their children the same way I care for my own.

I babysit from my home and I am willing to do pickups and drop offs for parents convenience. We do lots of exploring outdoors when weather permits, playing, reading, puzzles and I provide food and snacks unless parents have a preference on providing their own food and snacks.
