Experienced nanny with a high-focus on building healthy attachment styles by creating a predictable environment, guiding emotional and mental development. While I do incorporate a lot of learning into our play from neuroscience books I've read, I prefer to keep it fluid and still allow the child to be a child. I follow a Montessori approach, so I don't feel comfortable forcing learning or being rigid with the methods. Particularly with toddlers, I allow them to take the lead through their interests to develop their independence and need for autotomy. This empowers them to manage nonnegotiable rules and boundaries with less meltdowns; in other words, we're building the foundational skills for compromising. WFH Families Unfortunately, I am not a good fit for this environment I have worked with lovely families and even then, found my introverted temperament type gets exhausted integrating into the nuances of a family dynamic.

Hi, my name is Bahia, I am 34 years old and I have my master's degree in marriage, family, and child counseling. For the past 7 years I have been a nanny, splitting my time between multiple families, almost all of whom have had at least two children ranging from 3 months old to 7 years old. Before nannying I worked at an autism center for 5 years, first as a behavior therapist, and eventually as a clinical supervisor. At this job I worked one on one with children ranging from 18 months of age to 15 years old. At this job I was trained in methods of language development and behavior management. While working at the autism center and completing my master’s degree I also interned as a marriage and family therapist trainee for two years, and approximately half of my caseload consisted of children. I occasionally babysat while in high school and as an undergrad. I have also been a very involved aunt to a now 14-year-old girl and 12-year old twins. Saving my best experience for last, I am the proud mama to a sweet boy who was born in March 2021. I am currently looking for a part time job that I can bring my son to, or date night/weekend jobs when I can leave my son with his dad if needed. I have been bringing my son to work with ume since he was 6 months old, so he is very used to it. I will not favor my child while on the job, I see this as a great way to teach him to share toys and attention with other children. I hope that my extensive knowledge and experience with children will make me the right fit for your family.

Hi, my name is Brittany and I'm 32 years old. While my professional history is mostly in healthcare, I also have years of experience caring for children. I love to play, color, read stories, and can help with homework if needed too. I am open to any ages and I'm also trained in cpr and first aid. I know that picking someone to care for your child is a very difficult and important choice. I can provide references upon request. I know that a new provider is not only hard for parents but can also be a tough adjustment on kids. I do my best to ease that for them and for you by being patient, kind, loving and fun! If you feel like I might be a good fit for your family please send me a message and we can set up a time to meet. Thank you!

My name is Taryn and I have been a nanny for the last 12 years. I am also a certified medical assistant. I have worked with multiple families as a nanny and they have all become like family. I work part time for an amazing family right now and have been with them for the last four years. I am looking for a family/families who need an occasional sitter once a week or a few times a month, just to fill in all the off time I have. I have a 3 year old daughter that I occasionally bring with me depending on the time of day. I have continued to do this for so long because I find it extremely rewarding. I have multiple references from past and current families I’ve worked for and I hopefully will meet more amazing families soon!

In highschool, I took a couple classes. My 9th grade year, I took a class called "Learning About Children". That pretty much taught us everything about babies aged newborn-3 years old. It was the type of class that we took care of a babydoll for a week and got graded on it. My 10th grade year, I took a class called "Working With Children". This is where we put everything we learned to use. We had an actual day care in our school and we worked directly with those children. The day care was in the same class room we learned in. We created lesson plans for our kids and were really hands on every day. I didn't pursue child care after high school. However, my love of taking care of people didn't fade. I opted for direct patient care as a Dialysis Technician. This has equipped me with the basic knowledge for emergencies as well. I am trained in Adult and Children First Aid/CPR/AED. I now work for Penwizard, which is a company that makes personalized children's books. I run the customer service end and manage all reseller orders. This has equipped me with all sorts of Peppa Pig, PAW Patrol, Shimmer and Shine, LEGO knowledge I need. ;)

Nurturing and supporting children in a safe environment is what makes me stand out above the rest. I love to have fun and enjoy outside experiences, in the context of support, love, and safety. I want to be a babysitter because I’m a strong, compassionate, and kind adult and can bring comfort and love to the kids I meet.

I have been working with kids since I was 9 and have worked at a daycare for about a year. I want to switch to nannying/sitting since I have notice significant benefits from one-on-one care for children. My goal is to work with parents to make their lives easier which means I am willing to run errands, housekeep, help with pets, and much more. Majority of my experience is infant care but I also have experience with toddlers, preschoolers, and school age.

Hi! I'm Kennedy, for the past 4 years I have been a nanny for multiple families in the North Kitsap area. I have experience caring for children anywhere from 4 months old to 8 years old, many of my gigs are toddlers 1 year - 3 years old. Before then, all of my experience comes from caring for my niece and nephew! I enjoy being outdoors, crafts, adventuring, and teaching kids new things! I love all animals so I am okay if they are going to be around. I also have experience transporting children, with a clean driving record, so if the position entails driving I am okay with that as well! I'm looking for a long term position.
