Hello! My name is Amanda and I live in South Lake Union. I teach 1st grade in Bellevue School District. I am looking for part time babysitting to bring in some extra money. I graduated from WWU in Bellingham in 2015, where I studied Special Education and Elementary Education. I am currently in my second year of teaching and have a lot of experience teaching in a classroom, particularly with ages 5-10 years old. In college worked at the YMCA for 2.5 years running before/after school programs at local elementary schools, and as a director of a summer day camp. Here I have gained experience planning arts and crafts, running group games, managing up anywhere from 10-60 kids at a time, and providing an overall safe and fun atmosphere for children. I also have experience as a nanny. The children ranged in ages from 1-9 years old.
