Growing up with three younger sisters means I was born into a babysitting position. In the past 10 or so years, I have done countless hours of childcare. I have cared for my own sisters and other children anywhere from a newborn to a freshman in high school. Apart from numerous evening babysitting jobs where I have fed the children and put them to bed, I have also: - maintained a consistent, weekly schedule with an infant and toddler - stayed overnight with children ages 3 to 15 - supervised and organized activities for six kids (ages 3-7) for about 5 hours a day in the summer - cared for a newborn for a couple hours a day - assisted with childcare in the nursery at church for babies and young children who are not yet potty trained The most intensive childcare I have done was from March through May Read more of 2014. I was an au pair in France for a family of four with two children ages 2 and 5. Since I lived with the family, I woke up with the kids in the morning, fed them breakfast and lunch, played with them during the day, took the older girl to school, bathed the children and put them to bed. Additionally, I tidied the house, did the laundry, and ran various errands for the parents. All in all, I am fully capable and willing to care for children in any way whether it be through play, meals, driving them places, putting them to bed, etc.. I love being a part of a child's every day and seeing them grow, learn and mature.
