Hello! I live in Ballard in Seattle, and I’m looking to get back into childcare as a part time gig. Currently I don’t work full time anywhere so my schedule is very open! Even if it doesn’t show up on my schedule feel free to check and see if I’m free! I’m happy to do overnights or early/late times as well. For some reason the App isn’t letting my update my schedule, but I am available at most times. I have Zoo and Aquarium memberships and would love to take your kids there or on other adventures! I love kids and have worked with them for a lot of my life! I love the arts and science, so I will gladly help your kids with a wide range of activities. Whether it is a school science project or dancing and singing around the room :) I frequently do craft projects Read more and DIY projects at home, I sew a lot but also enjoy other crafts. I also love animals, so if you have pets it will be no problem. I grew up on a ranch and so I have experience with tons of different kinds of animals. I helped care for my three younger brothers starting when I was 11 and the youngest was born. I never used any electronics while babysitting my brothers, (or any of the other numerous kids I have watched) so unless you specifically say you allow it, that would be my policy. I ran the nursery at my church where we had kids 8 months old to 6 years, and helped in the day care at the ski hill where I was an instructor. We had kids from 2 years to 12 years. At the ski hill I taught kids ages 4 to 13 how to ski. For two summers I was a nanny for two girls, 11 and 6, from 8am to 6:30pm three days a week. After moving to Seattle in 2015 I was a nanny and babysitter for a few different families, kids ranging from 6 months to 10 years old. I took a break from childcare for a while because I had other full time work but I’m excited to work with kids again now! I was really involved in Theatre from a young age until about 20 and was a Stage Manager many times! That involved keeping track of the whole cast, and calling stage, sound and lighting cues. One of the programs I worked with was for kids ages 4-18, and the cast sizes ranged from 30-75 kids! The other program was the high school theatre program and so it was high school aged students and was usually between 20 and 30 of them. I am a certified Babysitter with the Red Cross, so I have been trained in CPR, First Aid, and Child Development. I have my own car and a clean driving record!
