Hello! My name is Desiree Price. I am an eighteen (almost nineteen) year old girl who thoroughly enjoys working with children, particularly with infants to early elementary age. I currently teach preschool at a small center in Seattle, Washington. I have worked with infants all the way up to older preschool children (7 months - 5 years), particularly with 1-3 year olds. In addition to this, I volunteered at a preschool in the Magnolia neighborhood of Seattle called for two years during high school. Currently, I am certified in Adult, Child, and Infant First AID CPR AED, I am also certified in HIV/AIDS training for Healthcare Professionals, Bloodborne Pathogens training, and have completed both the annual STARS certification of Infant Safe Sleep (earned in November of 2015), and the 20 Hour School-Age Care certificate (earned in December of 2015). Currently, I am going working on my 45 Hour Infant and Read more Toddler Focus training for STARS hour and my Food Worker Card, and will begin to work on my 120 hour CDA (Child Development Associate) within early to mid 2016. In addition to loving children, I am also an animal lover! I am fine with a wide variety of pets, so I would love to get to know the furry members of your family! I have a clear background check, a negative TB test, and a current flu vaccine. I do not drive, as I am not comfortable doing so. I take public transportation, my bicycle, or walk. I love being outside and going places, so I would love to take the kid(s) to the park, museum, etc. I am an active person, so I love to constantly move around and play games. I love art, as well, and would love to paint, draw, sculpt, and much more with your children! I look forward to meeting you and talking more about babysitting/nanny positions, should you decide that I am a good fit for your family! :)
