Hey Families! If you are looking for a fun-loving, trustworthy, crafty/musically inclined and organized sitter we might be a good fit. For the past 15 years I have worked with diverse groups of infants/children to young adults from economically stable families all the way to youth experiencing homelessness. I consider myself a youth worker at heart and by profession. I am currently a nanny for a loving family M-F for about 50 hours a week. I come alive in this work, so I am going to UW for graduate school to get my Social Work degree/licensing to become a Parent Educator come Fall 2016. My particular style of working with young people looks like making your child's/children's emotional and physical safety of utmost importance. I believe children are whole people who are highly intuitive and intelligent and learn at their own pace. I love to play, read, make music, do Read more art projects, run around, laugh, dance, learn, and kindly re-direct kids in respectful ways while offering clear and consistent boundaries in line with your families values. I enjoy engaging with kids based on what is age appropriate, getting outside, going to community centers, and exploring. I am very well connected to the Seattle community, active in social justice work, enjoy cleaning/organizing, and my puppies and partner at home!
