My first choice for a profession growing up was becoming a babysitter. At the age of 13 I enrolled in an American Red Cross course and was certified after 2 weeks. Ever since then (14 years ago) I have really enjoyed meeting and taking care of busy family's children! Kids to me are such a joy and to be able to have opportunities to be a part of their days reading and providing healthy nutrition for them is really rewarding. Also as a former lifeguard and swim instructor however currently still CPR certified I also understand the importance of keeping safety a number one priority at all times.
