Hello Families !! My name is Benét Sparks a online student at the Univeristy of Washington. I am currently studying to become a history high school teacher. I have been babysitting since I was 14 years old, and nannying since I was 18. I am eager to get to get any experience I can working with children because with the pandemic it has been hard trying to get in class experience. I am a energetic and creative person who loves to have fun. Although some people may get tired of working with kids, because they do have a lot more energy than some, I find joy in creating ways where the job can be fun not only for myself for the child. Ive created my own games, learning lessons and even made plays with some of my past students. I’ve come to appreciate the different milestones each age group has Read more even though I’m getting a degree in secondary education. The importance of a young mind to be continuously stimulated to be able to grasp and retain knowledge is important for brain development. Without having kids of my own I’ve seen first hand how hard it’s been with COVID-19 it’s probably been hard trying to maintain that, work, school (if you’re me), mental and physical health. Let me be the person you can rely on to take the load of your shoulders so you can do what you have to while knowing that your child is safe & having a great time! Some hobbies of mine include but are not limited to, Baking, running, hiking and reading, singing and arts & crafts. I also have my food handlers permit and am more than willing to get any certificates you may require upon request. I am also more than happy to give emails, names and phone numbers to past employers I’ve babysat/nannied for references.
