I’ve worked in school settings for 3 and a half years. I have been a tutor, a mentor, a lunch monitor, and a case manager. My experience is with elementary through high school age groups. When I worked with elementary students, I facilitated student-led conflict resolution and I loved seeing students’ skills grow in that area. As a tutor and a mentor, the relationships that I built with the students helped me craft my lessons and address their needs. I work with kids because I love spending time with them and encouraging their interests. I have experience leading activities for groups of 20+ kids. I can plan lessons on math, reading, geography or social-emotional learning. Homework help is my specialty. I work regular school hours but I am available to take care of your young ones on weekends or after 4:00pm on weekdays.
