Through my work in pediatric psychiatric mental health, my past babysitting experiences working with a young boy with social deficits, and my education over the past 10 years, I have learned how to develop trust and comfort with all types of children, ranging from infants to age 18. Children have found me to be a stabilizing force and have grown to trust me and feel comfortable sharing about themselves and their feelings. I am currently babysitting and working with two children, one with anger control issues, and am teaching him coping strategies and deescalation techniques, while playing some games and developing an exercise routine.
