After hiring Maria for a job and telling her I would give her more details as the day drew closer, I subsequently closed the job to stop wasting other caregivers' time with unnecessary applications. When I messaged Maria to give her more details as was promised, she said she assumed that me closing the job after I hired her meant that I didn't need her anymore so she booked herself for something else, leaving me to scramble for last minute care. I can see where she may have been confused but I would have hoped and expected that if she was uncertain she would have clarified first.
