Hello parents, My name is Deja. I'm currently in school to become a occupational therapist. I have a passion for working with kids especially special needs kids. One of my first jobs was working as a babysitter. As the years passed I have gained considerable experience working with children. I have worked with special-needs kids as a in home caregiver. During my caregiver job I worked with many different clients that have a range of different disabilities. I've had a lot of kid clients because I prefer to work with kids but I have experience working with elderly clients as well as middle-aged clients. So far I have gained a lot of experience working with kids on the Spectrum. One of my first clients working as a in home care provider were a set of twin boys who were on the Spectrum. While I was working with the twins I Read more learned a lot on how to prioritize my time. I found that working with two 7 year old on the Spectrum has made working with multiples a breeze. Working as a home care aide has made me more understanding and flexible towards the needs of my clients. I personally love helping people out and would love to help your family by providing care to your children.
