Hello! I am a graphic designer looking for opportunities to work with kids and add a little more space into some parents' lives. From May 2019-to March 2020 I provided childcare at a small church in the Twin Cities playing games and reading with 2-7 kids aged 9 months - 7 years old during church services. Additionally, I have lived with families in Florida, California, Vancouver and Madrid, Spain as an au pair for each about a month at a time. In 2021 I even returned to one of these families at their new home in Hawaii! I adored this arrangement as a supplement to my graphic design remote work as it gave me an opportunity to make a home in new places and help out as a part of a family making space for parents to relax a little bit. It was a joy to make strong connections with Read more kids from 17 months to 5 years old. I changed diapers, played games, read books, prepared meals, cleaned up around the house and put little ones to bed with respect for the family's home and child rearing style. This was a wonderful experience in adapting to different lifestyles for me and an awesome break from my computer oriented graphic design work. Now that I am back in Seattle after some travel this winter I am so excited to find families to help out and reap these benefits again!
