I have 15+ years experience caring for children of all ages, from infancy through pre-teens. Most of my experience has been caring for younger family members (my brother and cousin, my two young nephews) and the children of my neighbors and other community members. While in graduate school, I was a part-time nanny/mother's helper and also provided care as needed to acquaintances, friends, and community members. I currently work as a therapist doing telehealth with adults and have missed the time I spent as a caregiver in the past. I am currently fully vaccinated and I have experience and training with CPR and first aid. Because of my background as a therapist, I approach childcare similarly to how I would approach therapy - open, positive communication and meeting folks (adults/children) where they are at.
