Hi there I am currently a Kindergarten teacher in Seattle for the Renton School District. I have BA of Interdisciplinary Studies, a MA in Education and teaching certificate for the states of TX, CA and Washington. I relocated to Seattle from Texas where I taught Pre Kindergarten in a public school as a certified teacher for 5 years. I also taught PreK in California and worked in various schools in Orange County, California. Other experience includes KinderCare preschool teacher where I worked with 2 year olds and infants and part time babysitting over the years for families with kiddos of all ages. As a certified teacher I have many hours of training and experience using positive discipline focused on redirection and respecting relationships. I have many fur babies so pets are always a plus. Kimberly is friendly with our toddler, always shows up promptly, and gives us a good verbal summary of how the evening went. She can handle bath and bedtime, which is not easy with a toddler. We've now had her to babysit several times, and our toddler now transitions without hesitation, asking her to play Legos.
