Hi! My name is Alexandra and currently I am staying in Seattle, WA. I was an au pair in the United States for 2 years (1,5 years in Alexandria, VA and 6 months in Seattle, WA), right now I'm in the process of applying for graduate program in U.S. and I'm looking for a full time job as a preferably live in au pair/ nanny (my studies will start in around September so I'm looking for a job as a full time nanny until then and later on I hope to continue my work as a part time nanny). I've got 3 years of every day experience in taking care of children at ages 10 months to 12 years. I also worked for 5 months as a primary school teacher in Asia so I have a lot of experience in working with children. I'm a good experienced driver (I drove Read more in the U.S. every day for 2 years without any accident and in Europe for a few years as well. In fact I love driving and I'm very happy that driving is usually a part of a job as a nanny.) As an au pair my duties were as follow: preparing lunch boxes for children in the morning (children that went to school;p), making sure that the teeth were brushed, helping in getting dressed, driving to school, preparing dinner, driving to after school activities and playgrounds, taking kids to the museums, parks, swimming pool etc., helping to do homework (My Spanish is at intermediate level as I had Spanish at school plus I studied for a year in Spain and I used to help children to do their homework in Spanish too), bedtime routine: dinner, bath, stories etc. I also used to do a lot of housework such as vacuuming, dusting, changing sheets, wiping floors, doing laundry.
