Hello wonderful families, my name is Grace and I am an experienced private babysitter, instructor at the zoo, and previous infant/toddler teacher. I have experience with an array of ages, but prefer infants and toddlers (< 3 years old). I successfully received my bachelors in both psychology (with a developmental focus) and disability studies, along with a minor in education. I am hoping to pursue my masters in special education in the next year or two to utilize those techniques both within my private practice and creating accessible programs for kids in informal education settings. Infant development is incredibly overlooked and yet one of the most influential times in our lives. I am incredibly passionate, caring, detail-oriented, a leader, and clear communicator. I am open to assisting with house work as well so long as someone is willing to show me where things are and the preferences the family has. Read more Currently I consistently work on Mondays and Wednesdays at the zoo and can be flexible with your family's schedule otherwise. I do have a 10-day trip in early March and week long trip at the end of April that have already been planned. I depend on the bus system to get around Seattle, but reliably can get where I need to on time (uber as backup) and usually earlier. Rate is negotiable. Feel free to ask me for references, resume, cpr certification, covid cards, TB test, or background check. Thank you so much for taking the time to read my bio and considering me when making this important decision.
