Hi, my name is Kaitlyn! I graduated from Seattle University this past June with a degree in Psychology. I work as a research assistant at the University of Washington, primarily with neurodiverse school age children. I offer part-time childcare services (including sitting for date nights, helping kids with homework or activities at home, cooking, and cleaning afterward). I have been watching infants, toddlers, kids, and teens since I was 15 years old. I am energetic and caring, and I appreciate spending time with kids, learning from them, and accompanying them with their activities. While at SU, I volunteered in the local community through the Center for Community Engagement. I interned at a research lab at the University of Washington, where I worked with kids and teens with Autism Spectrum Disorder. I work there full-time now and spend a great amount of time getting to know the participants and ensuring they Read more are cared for and comfortable throughout the in-person visits. Also, I am the oldest of four girls, so I have extensive childcare experience getting my siblings to-from school and after-school activities, helping with homework, making food, etc. I am CPR certified and took a childcare safety course in my first year of college. I do not have a car, but I am comfortable using public transportation or walking everywhere in the city. Also, I have a valid drivers license. I am allergic to cats, but I am comfortable with dogs.
