Hi, I'm Rose and I’m 21 years old and currently a senior at Chapman university studying to be a pediatric nurse. I am set to graduate in the end of may and will be moving back to Seattle for the summer! I am still looking for occasional or one time sitting opportunities in the Orange County area until the end of may! I’m beginning the search for a full time nanny or sitting position in Seattle for summer 2023. If this fits with your needs I would love to hear from you! I was a full-time (then part-time) nanny for a family in 2021 for three kiddos (newborn, three-year-old, and six-year-old). I also have previous experience working at a childcare center for children aged 5-12, working in a church nursery, pre-school class, and at summer camps as well as teaching both private and group swim lessons for children aged 2-12. I have taken classes in childhood development and all aspects of health so my studies are well fitted to my job! I am fully vaccinated (including the Covid booster) and am CPR certified. I also work as a member of the first aid response team at my university and was a lifeguard for several years so I have experience with first aid and can keep your little one safe. I love spending time with babies and kids because of the way I get to experience the world through their eyes as they are just first discovering it. It brings me a lot of joy and is something that I’m passionate about. I have an extensive resume and great references that I would be happy to pass along to anyone interested! We hired Rose for a night out this past summer, and she was awesome. I'm bummed she's not in Seattle this fall to keep helping out with our 1yo + dog! Rose was easy to communicate with: from setting a time to video chat ahead of the job, to checking-in to confirm details as the date approached, and when we spent some time going over the logistics after she arrived. She was on time, friendly and easy-going, and followed all of the instructions we had outlined for the evening. Our daughter immediately went to her when we stepped away to leave- something that nearly never happens. She even sent a couple of photos while we were out that were super cute. It was a real delight working with her and I would highly recommend her to other families who need a sitter!
