I have much experience working with younger children, both in and outside the home. I spent approximately 168 hours in preschool co-ops. As a parent participant, I learned a lot about child development and how to "manage" young children with conversations, redirection, teaching moments etc. I also learned a lot about how to create a fun and stimulating environment that fosters emotional, intellectual and personal growth in the child. If I care for your child/children, they will be safe, secure and nurtured with lots of attention and affection. I prefer to work with younger children because they're fun and full of wonder. And I really only have space for two children in my Forester. As for me, I'm originally from Austin. I moved to Seattle to go graduate school at the UW in the social sciencss and I have livered hear ever since. I love the natural beauty and community-minded Read more spirit of this area. I love spending time with my grown-up sons, and I love non-fiction writing.
