have many younger cousins and I have picked them up from school and watched them while their parents were not available. I would take them shopping, to the park, hanging out at home and social activities. I lived with my grandma who had dementia for about 8 years and helped be her caregiver in the later years. I grew up on the lookout to see what she or my cousins needed and how to make them comfortable. I went to a unique high school where we also helped in elementary school classes. I loved helping out in the classrooms and seeing kids excitement when they saw me. I can get along with all ages and know how to make them feel welcome to talk to me about things and ensure that they are feeling safe and happy. I can deal with younger kids and their conflicts with each other and Read more help them resolve their conflicts. Teachers, friends and family have all observed how good I am with kids and have seen how children feel comfortable with me. I was also a girl scout and horseback riding assistant instructor for years. I am happy to get my CPR training or whatever other training would make families feel more comfortable. I am happy to do a background check, drug test, provide references and am totally comfortable being on camera while you are away.
