Having been a Montessori preschool teacher for 8 years, I have subsequently enjoyed caring for children in one context or another. The bright busy learners that children are remain a joy to my heart. Last year I worked at a Waldorf school, but left due to a difference of values with the head director. Congruent positive values are important to share! Since then, I have been nannying! I have also been a trained volunteer at Seattle Parks and Rec, managing and leading groups of children (ages 4-12 ) exploring forest/meadow/pond experiences. More recently I worked as an science educator ( butterflies, dinosaurs, outer space) at the Pacific Science Center. I am comfortable with two kids between ages 18 mo and 12 and can provide structure, routine and learning, as well as fun and play. Child CPR and First Aid Certified. Fully vaxxed. I am available from 4/12/23 to the indefinite future.
