I was born and raised in southern Maine on somewhat of a farm; and my love for animals is only overshadowed by a love for children. I have been babysitting since the early 2000's (my middle school years), watching as many as 4 children at once. I also worked a year and a half as a habilitation specialist focusing on behavior management and skill development with children with autism spectrum disorders. I have my B.A. in Psychology from the University of Maine, including a minor in child development and family relations. I recently received my Master's in Clinical Social Work from Boston University and moved to the West Coast. My long term goal is to work with at risk children or youth with a history of trauma. I am very outgoing, personable, and active. I love sports, the outdoors, arts, crafts, and music (although musicical ability is not my strong Read more suit.) I am very reposible and have extensive experience with children. Resume Available with detailed education and employment history!

We found Vickery on Sittercity. Her references were stellar so we hired her to babysit our 6 month old son for 2-3 days a week for a period of 6-7 weeks. Vickery was an outstanding babysitter/nanny. She was so patient when our son was fussy and seemed to have a never ending supply of energy. She found many ways to keep him busy and soothe him when he was cranky or tired. She was professional and courteous and always arrived on time. We will definitely hire her again!

Vickery was the babysitter for my infant daughter during a three-month period from June to September 2011. During this time, she proved to be a level-headed, warm, energetic and absolutely reliable person who loves children and is a joy to be around. Everyone in my family and extended family felt relieved about the baby's care after meeting her. Friends who met her were jealous that I had such a great person for my baby. She has a lot of empathy and is mature beyond her years. The fact that she has an undergraduate degree in psychology and is now studying for a masters in social work means that she knows more about child development than most people including most parents and I learned a lot from her.
