I love working with children. I started babysitting when I was 12 years old. One child I babysat regularly had down's syndrome. I was a nanny for three children for two summers when I was in college. For one and a half years at college, I studied early childhood education as I wanted to be a grade school teacher. When my son was in grade school I volunteered there. I was a Sunday school preschool teacher for 2 years. I was the Den Leader of 11 Cub Scout boys for 5 years. Last year after I retired I went back to my son's grade school as a volunteer. I enjoy being outside, playing card/board games, Lego, barbies, arts and crafts and reading to children. I am basically a big kid but can be an adult when need be. I am an avid scrapbooker. I have no problem cooking, running errands, Read more doing light housekeeping or transporting your children. I am very flexible as far as days and hours that I can work. I am CPR certified. I am also comfortable with animals.
