I retired early to enjoy being a grandma after raising five children as a single parent. Now I have eight grandchildren with another on the way. I babysit my grandchildren as needed from newborn to eight years old. Each gets special attention based on their personalities and learning styles. My youngest kids are twenty eight year old twins, so life was busy when they were younger. They all went to co-op preschools and I was able to take ECE classes at the local community college as well. All five are now grown and successful. I’m available as a backup sitter, date night sitter, or day sitter in Snohomish, Lake Stevens, Monroe, Marysville, Everett, Granite Falls, and Arlington. I believe children learn through play and spend my time with them doing just that while making sure they are safe, comfortable, and well-cared for. Aida has been wonderful for all the times she has watched my little girl! She pays special attention to her wants and needs. She comforts her when upset and they invent cute games to play together so my daughter is always engaged and never bored! Aida has watched my two boys (1&3) on multiple occasions for very long days. She is able to handle their energy and rebellious spirits with ease. At the end of the day the boys don’t want her to leave! She handles their dietary needs and sleep schedules with care so I know they are being taken care of with love, kindness and the same way I would be with them. You will not go wrong trusting Aida, she has the patience to handle anything thrown at her!

My (7yo) kiddo won’t stop talking about how much fun they had with Aida and if my 18mo could talk, I think she’d say the same! Aida is excellent with children, a natural, kept the kiddos engaged, fed, and oh so happy! They played together and they did fun activities too. She also actively kept us updated on how things were going which was so comforting for us and leaving us able to enjoy our date day/night! Huge thank you to Aida for everything!

Aida was incredibly kind to my daughter and followed direction well in meeting her developmental goals we stated before we left for our date night. Aida practiced numbers and colors with our 1 year old daughter and upon getting home we were delighted to hear our daughter saying numbers.
