Hi families! I’m Shelby, an experienced childcare professional with over 16 years in early childhood education and youth programming. I’ve served as a Program Manager and Assistant Director in licensed childcare settings, leading teams, supporting families, and creating safe, engaging environments where children thrive. I hold a Bachelor’s degree in Policy & Social Justice with a minor in Diversity Studies, along with my Washington State ECE certification. I’m CPR/First Aid certified, Food Handler certified, and trained in health and safety standards. My caregiving style is child-centered, nurturing, and intentional. I believe children learn best through play, exploration, and connection. I prioritize emotional regulation, independence, creativity, and outdoor time (rain or shine!).
