Hey there! A few fun facts about me: -I was born in Oregon, but grew up mostly in Virginia -One of my passions is marine biology! In high school, I went on several dive trips to locations like Grenada and St. Lucia. -I attended James Madison University where I studied biology with a minor in environmental conservation. I have not finished my degree yet, but plan to return back to school in due time! - Extracurricular activities that I REALLY enjoy include: - painting -kayaking - drawing -playing games (board games, console games, cards) -swimming -hanging out with my pets/animals -gardening -sports (although I wouldn’t describe myself as an athlete) -hiking -learning new things/ hobbies I babysat two children for a family in Virginia for over 7 years. I love to interact with the children I babysit- I’m not the “sit on the couch” type! I can provide their number as a reference as requested. I also worked as a Child Developmental Technician at a Behavioral Residential Service group home (BRS) for almost 2 years. I began once I moved to Spokane in 2020 and only resigned over this summer due to an incident that resulted in my injury. I still have a passion for the job, but no longer feel I am able to fulfill my role in that field. I still hold my certifications from this position- including First Aid CPR AED, Medication Administration, Right Response (for applicable situations), as well as multiple others. I am currently on sabbatical and sell my artwork on the side for work. I am left with a decent bit of free time!
