I was born and raised in Seattle, Washington. I love the westside very much, the hikes and living near the way is such a blessing. I came to the Eastside for college, I just graduated from Eastern Washington University with my Bachelors in Social Work with a minor in sociology. I am currently in the Advanced Standing Masters Program of Social Work. I have one year to complete this and will be done in June. I love children and adolescents, they are the population I plan on working with within my career. As an intern I worked with children and youth within the foster care system. This past summer I was a camp counselor and director for Overtime Athletics summer camp. The ages were 5-12. I was able to play sports with the children, create a daily plan for the each camp day and create relationships with the campers. I Read more was the main supervisor for the camp days for part of the job, while the other part I was a counselor and had a new group of kids each week which was amazing getting to know them and play sports with them. I love interacting with children, I believe creating a genuine relationship is very important in order to create a positive and fun environment for children.
