Hello! My name is Ashley I'm 24 years old and just recently moved to Spokane. I'm a very fun, friendly and easy going person who will take very good care of your little ones! I left my job as a full time Assistant Lead Teacher in the toddler classroom at Building Blocks Child Care Center to move to Spokane so I'm looking for families that I can work full time for. I have a very flexible schedule and would like to dedicate all my time to your children. I have experience working with children 1-3 years as well as 4-5 years of age. As the assistant teacher in the toddler class I had the responsibilities of organizing and planning lessons, engaging children in activities, recording observations, doing assessments, communicating with parents, and keeping the children safe. I have finished and attended many trainings and have certifications such as CPR, first Read more aid, behavior management, curriculum and lesson planning, basic toddler development, health, safety and nutrition, cultural diversity and several other trainings. I first started babysitting when I was about 14 years old watching after some of my baby cousins. I have also babysat for families in my church as well as for families who attended the child care center I worked at. I am currently living with my sister and her 4 year old son who I've watched after many times. I have a very strong work ethic with ability to multi-task and work with minimal to no supervision, good communication skills, dedication, compassion, and I'm very organized. When I'm not working I like to spend most of my time with my family, friends, doing anything outdoorsy, listening to music, and reading. I absolutely love working with children and would love to continue my career in child care. I will be able to provide a fun, safe and well supervised environment for your children.
