I'm currently in college working towards a teaching position. I have previously cared for 19-month-old, 3-year-old, and 4-year-old. While caring for the children we worked on prekindergarten work learning how to read, count and write both letters and numbers. Prekindergarten courses consist of both traditional learning using worksheets and online learning using abcmouse.com, preparing them for future schooling. I also do activities to expand their imagination, creativity, fine motor skills. Occasionally take them on a field trip (at least once or twice a week) to jump, rattle and roll, McDonald play area, reptile zoo and park if weather permits for social interaction with other children and development of gross motor skills.
