Hello! I'm a 61 year old former elementary school teacher (18 years), former licensed home daycare provider, and a grandma to 3 adorable littles. I moved to CNY 3 years ago and I am currently working as a TA for Syracuse Public Schools. I am very flexible, kind, compassionate and loving, and I'm very consistent and fair minded. People tell me all the time that I have a calm and soothing manner with children. Some call me "the baby whisperer." Lol! And as a former 1st grade teacher, I love read-alouds and sing-a-longs, and I provide developmentally appropriate learning activities in reading, math, science, and social/emotional skills--and arts & crafts, of course! I am available weekdays around 3:30pm and weekends. My rate is $15-20/hour.
