Hi there! I am Abby (she/her). I am located in Seattle right now until June. I will be year graduating from the University of Washington, earning a BA in Education with Disability Studies and American Indigenous Studies minors. I have been caring for children for 5 years as a babysitter and as the oldest sibling. I have a lot of experience working with infants and toddlers, as I was most recently a routine sitter for a 2 year old since the beginning of the school year - and the 4 year brother previously. I truly love working with kids, and I approach each child as an individual who I get to help grow and teach. Last April to July I worked at a preschool in Portland as a teacher’s assistant and summer counselor. In Seattle I have worked at an after school program at an elementary school, specifically in the Read more kindergarten and first grade rooms. Since September I have been a substitute paraprofessional in the Seattle Public School system, regularly working at Concord International Elementary School. Nothing makes me happier than reading, doing crafts, playing games/puzzles and being outside! I hoping to find a family to work with this summer, as I will be home in Vancouver from school in early June. I'm available on weekdays and flexible to work weekends/date nights. I can provide references upon request. I'd love to meet you and get to know your children.
