From 2008 to 2018, I was a professional nanny and specialized in newborn twins. The first nanny position I took was part time and I was helping a SAHM with her daughter (2 at the time) and twin boys that were due about a month after my start date. About 6 months into my position, I expressed that I would like more hours. The Mom of whom I worked for was part of a group called Seattle Mom's of multiples and posted in her group that her nanny was looking for more hours. Before I knew it, I was working for over 10 families. Some days, I worked with up to three families and on average, I was booked months in advance. Although I loved what I did, commuting all around Seattle was exhausting and I began looking for a full time position. It didn't take long at all to Read more find my next family and I began my position with 3 month old boy/girl twins. I stayed with that family until their kiddos began preschool at 4 years old. Once that position ended, I worked under an agency in Kirkland, WA who placed me with my next family in which I cared for newborn twin girls up until they were about 8 months old. I took a small break from nannying, got pregnant with my son, and found a part time position while pregnant with my son in which I worked up until he was born in 2016. When my son was 6 months old, I started a new part time nanny job with a family I once babysat for years ago. I officially stopped nannying in 2018 when my son began preschool and I took a position at his school (Multiple Intelligences Academy in Mukiteo, WA) as a teachers assistant. When the school year was over, I took over the classroom and began teaching the summer programs where I would have 4-9 children a week and a floating assistant to help me. Working at the preschool has been my favorite job yet. I was sad to leave when I relocated to Vancouver, WA in August of 2019. Since relocating and the pandemic hitting, I have enjoyed being home with my 4 year old son, 10 year old nephew, and 13 year old daughter... although I haven't lost my passion for working with children and meeting new amazing people along the way.

Breanna babysat our two year old son last night. I felt totally confident leaving him in her care. He had a blast with her and it still talking about her! We can't wait to have Breanna come again!
