I am located in Seattle and can conveniently get to anywhere close by, such as Capitol Hill, but also have a car and can travel farther (Bothell, Redmond, etc.) if needed. I love kids and hope to become a pediatrician one day! To me, working with children is incredibly fun and exciting—I love to engage their curiosity and sense of play as a babysitter and help them learn how to be respectful and kind as peers at the same time. My boys played soccer since they were 3 years old, t-ball, baseball, basketball, track & field and football. I was a really active parent. I was Vice President of the PTA, VP of Membership, Chairperson of Family Fun nights and an Art Docent for their classrooms for two years. I also participated in booster clubs to raise money for the sports. I enjoy walking, bike riding, easy/moderate hiking (nothing too crazy!). I have experience with asthma, diabetes, and low/medium support needs ASD. I have watched after twins - including a pair of premature girls, triplets, and older siblings with infants. I'm familiar with sitting multiple children and have watched up to 6 at once. I am very firm about household rules, extremely reliable, and very comfortable with animals. I have managed potty training, cloth diapers, and taught the younger of the two boys I nannied to read, recognize shapes, and colours.
