Hi there! I am Abby (she/her). I graduated from the University of Washington in June 2024. I earned a Bachelor of Arts in Education, Communities, and Organizations with Disability Studies and American Indian Studies minors. I have been caring for children for 6 years as a babysitter and as the oldest sibling, as well as supervising children in summer camp and school settings. My babysitting experience ranges in ages from infant to twelve. I recently cared for a one year old for six months, starting when she was only six months herself - this included diaper changes, feedings, putting her down for naps, and taking her on adventures to Kids Club, swimming, and free events at the local library. I have also babysat toddlers and assisted them with potty training. I also babysit families with siblings ranging in ages of 2-4 and 6-10. I truly love working with kids, and I approach each child as an individual who I get to help grow and teach. With each family I understand cleaning is not expected but light housework such as dishes, vacuuming, and tidying up the toy room is no problem for me! I have experience babysitting children with ASD and ADHD. I have found success in building relationships with these children through discussing triggers, what the child enjoys, and boundaries with parents before we start working together. I am also passionate about working with children with disabilities in the school setting. I am currently a substitute, often filling in as a paraprofessional. From September 2023 to May 2024 I held an internship as a substitute paraprofessional in the Seattle Public School system, regularly working at Concord International Elementary School. Nothing makes me happier than reading, doing crafts, playing games/puzzles and being outside! My number one focus is keeping the children happy but most importantly safe. I have my CPR certification and can run a background check upon request. I'm available ONLY on weekends, hopefully for the occasional date night. I can provide references upon request. I'd love to meet your family and get to know your children!

I’ve never actually applied for a position as a nanny before but I have a big family so I pretty much grew up watching my younger cousins 24/7. I also have experience working in childcare, however, I haven’t worked since March of 2024 when I had my child. I definitely enjoy being around kids, childcare was probably one of my top favorite jobs minus the adults that I worked with. Childcare is probably one of the most drama filled jobs I’ve ever worked in. Despite all the drama, the kids definitely made it worth going to work. I’ve worked for a majority of curriculum based daycares and loved it. Being able to be apart of a child’s development and to watch them grow developmentally day-to-day is one of the most rewarding feelings ever.

Daylan H.
- 7 years paid experience

Hello, my name is Daylan and here’s a little bit about me and my qualifications! I’m 24 years old, a mother of a two year old boy, married to my husband who I have been with for 8 years +. We live on a beautiful 20 acres and would also love to babysit here if needed/preferred by family. I have 7 years of professional and private experience. I nannied full time up until I was due and took a year off for postpartum. I am a stay at home mom now wanting to get back out in the nanny/sitter world! I’m interested in a family that will allow me to bring my two year old with me. I have a reliable Rav 4 SUV, I love all animals and the outdoors. I have references for all the family’s I have been apart of and professional references as well. Here is some details about my experience: I was a sitter for a wonderful family of three. Ages 6months,5,8. I was with this family for about two years. 18 month old twins, was a sitter for 1 year. 9month baby, sitter for 8 months. Family of 4, ages 7, 10 year old twins, 14 year old. Sat for them for about 6 months. Swim coach, 3 years experience. Working with children is my passion. Understanding that these children are our future. Helping them build confidence and understanding of ones self and others. Watching their little minds grow into the people they will become. It’s a treasure to be able to work with children. I take it with pride and joy that I am accepted into one’s family to help care for their children. I nannied for a long while before having my own child and always loved the children I cared for deeply, as my own. But after experiencing the love of having your own I was able to have a deeper understanding of children and the care they should receive. They say you don’t understand love until you have your own children and I never understood as I thought I did. But now I do, and I promise I will love yours as much. Taking responsibility for one’s child is a big deal, and to not be taken lightly. As a sitter or nanny, you are there for the child/children for a good amount of time. The effort you put into a family is so important into who they become and who they are. And I take that with pride. Wether it’s helping a child learn shapes and colors, counting to 10, learning the abc, working on homework, and helping build their emotions, I am here to do it and more.

Hi, my name is Nina! I’m 21 years old and a full-time mom to my 4-year-old daughter. Caring for her has given me over four years of hands-on childcare experience, and I’ve also worked as a nanny for twin boys (ages 9–10). I’m CPR certified and trained as a CNA, which gives me strong skills in safety, health, and caregiving that I bring into my work as a nanny. I’m very crafty—I design and crochet toys—and I enjoy keeping kids busy with fun, creative projects. Our home in Woodland, WA is smoke-free, pet-free, and in a quiet neighborhood with plenty of room to play. Because my daughter has food allergies, I’m very attentive and cautious with children’s safety and dietary needs. I’d love the opportunity to provide a safe, caring, and fun environment for your child, and I treat every child I care for as if they were my own.
